Avoid at all costs television

I stumbled onto a show last night starring Jesse Ventura in which the half-wit former governor of Minnesota goes around the globe exploring various "conspriacies," interviewing "experts" and other assorted cranks.

I caught the tail end of his 9/11 episode and watched the first 15 minutes or so of his episode on climate change. It was appaling how unethical it was from a journalistic standpoint and otherwise just a maddening experience for any sentinent human being.

I caught Ventura on CNN last month. He was simultaneously whining that politicians are all spineless poll-watchers and also that politicians are marching in lockstep with their parties, ignoring public opinion. That he can hold such contradictory stances simultaneously is a sign of either great intellect or insanity. You make the call.
