I hope that the liberal bloggers who spent weeks hysterically kvetching about the horrors of a Caroline Kennedy appointment enjoy their new Blue Dog Senator from New York.
Enjoy your new Senator David Sirota, Ezra Klein and Matt Yglesias. Three well off and influential white guys bemoaning "aristocracy" and look what they've delivered.
You three own Gillibrand now. You own every anti-worker voter she casts. You own every vote she makes against universal health care. You own the Republican who will almost undoubtedly take her House seat and every vote they cast.
I'm seething.
