The networks caught site of a very emotional Jesse Jackson last night,
I know some will be (and probably already are) quick to dismiss Jesse's reaction as little more than crocodile tears. Many will search for some alternative rationale for his display of raw emotion. Before anyone draws unknowable conclusions about what is really in another mans heart and head I think we shouldn't forget about another famous photo with Jesse,
Jesse Jackson was standing next to Dr. King at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis on April 4, 1968. Whatever Jesse Jackson may or may not be today he was and is a hero if the civil rights movement. He has seen more with those eyes than any of us can imagine. Remember that when you hear someone dismiss those tears out of hand.

I just came upon a wonderfully written and emotional piece on CNN's website. It's written by the daughter of George Wallace – on Bush, Obama and history.
