Simple question

John McCain's campaign has begun to pushback on his Spain gaffe

McCain foreign policy adviser Randy Sheunemann said McCain's answer was intentional.

"The questioner asked several times about Senator McCain's willingness to meet Zapatero (and id'd him in the question so there is no doubt Senator McCain knew exactly to whom the question referred). Senator McCain refused to commit to a White House meeting with President Zapatero in this interview,"

The simple follow-up that needs to be asked is, given his position on Zapatero  would John McCain move to have Spain removed from NATO if he were elected President?

McCain and Palin have made a big deal out of adding Georgias as a member of NATO even though that would mean we were obligated to commit troops if hostilities flared between Russia and Georgia again. Is Senator McCain now advocating that under a McCain administration Spain's status within NATO would be in jeopardy?

It's a simple and logical follow-up. Let's hear the answer.
