Edwards

A commenter below notes that I haven't commented yet on John Edwards.

I supported him in the primaries and still believe he would be an excellent Attorney General. The reason that I haven't commented because the story broke while I was on vacation (I hardly had Blackberry service, much less access to a computer) and by the time I returned (last night) it seemed like old news.

On one hand I am very angry at him for running even though he knew this might blow wide open. Imagine if he were the nominee right now. At the same time he's been a tremendous force for good and I have a hard time completely turning my back on him for personal foibles that are not really any of my business.

What he did is between he and Elizabeth, I don't approve but it's certainly none of my business.
