Business community reacts to labor's overtures

Last night I noted that labor had pulled two of the four ballot initiatives they were proposing and declared that they were open to negotiations with the business community over the coming battle of the ballot initiatives.

Not surprisingly the business community not interested in negotiations. The Denver Post reports this morning,

However, A Better Colorado, the group pushing the right-to-work initiative, is not backing down, said spokesman Kelley Harp.

"Amendment 47 continues to gain momentum and will be on the ballot in November," Harp said.

So there you have it. The hard line anti-worker interests in the state are not interested in good faith negotiations and they're not interested in compromise.

Hopefully Kelley Harp has gotten his buddy Jon Coors to cut him another wingnut welfare check or this isn't going to be much of a race.

Yeah, Harp seriously needs another check from Coors, since he ain't got no scratch right now from what anyone can tell. Unless of course, this whole anti-worker crusade by extremist right wing elements is being funded illegally and clandestinely.
