Jim Lindgren at Volokh Conspiracy argues that Jared Loughner is a left-winger because he has apparently spoken out against the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as well as Christianity. That pretty much tells you all you need to know about the modern American right, if you're not a pro-war Bible thumping Christian then you're just a dirty lib.
Scary thing is VC is a site known for "reasonable" conservative view points.
