Mark Hemingway Is an Asshole, Not a Journalist

Shorter Mark Hemingway, "It would be irresponsible not to speculate!"

It's because of assholes like Mark Hemingway that my office building (which houses a Latino voting rights organization, among other liberal interest groups) now has an armed guard stationed at the door through the election. As Hemingway helpfully notes in his post - he has no evidence at all that anything is wrong with the voting machines in Clark County Nevada. But he posts anyway.

I actually met Hemingway's father-in-law while buying vinyl at Twist & Shout on Colfax a couple of years back. He seemed nice enough but when he mentioned his son-in-law he went into an unprompted diatribe on how moderate National Review Online (where Hemingway then worked) was. It was quite a conversation.
