State Senator Michael Johnston is on the floor of the Colorado Senate comparing his efforts in Senate Bill 191 to the Tuskegee Airmen.
I hope that someone plays the audio of this back for him and that he is thoroughly embarrassed by what he has said. Whatever the merits of his legislation this self-important soliloquy is completely over-wrought. Senator Johnston you are not a war hero, you are not a civil rights pioneer and you are not the savior of every child in Colorado's public schools.
Get a grip Sir.
