Universal Music Group drops CD Prices

Big story in the music world this morning, apparently some old dinosaur woke up and realized that it's not 1992 anymore.
The Universal Music Group, the world’s largest music company, announced plans on Thursday to test broadly whether lower prices — $10 or less — on new CDs will attract consumers who have cut back on buying CDs in recent years.

This would have been a brilliant move in 1999. At this point though I think they're just using it as a gimmick to clear warehouse space.
