All of the attention thus far has been on the demise of healthcare reform after Scott Brown's victory last Tuesday but what about the many other ambitious and needed reforms that Obama and Congressional Democrats campaigned on?
I'd say the Employee Free Choice Act is a certain goner, at least in any meaningful form. Card check had already been bargained away in order to save the binding arbitration clause. At this point I think Democrats have zero chance of passing that compromise now. At this point the only hope for substantive reform is through the Department of Labor itself.
As the Workplace Professors Blog notes, the death of EFCA was brought about in part by union members support for Scott Brown on Tuesday.

Do we know Brown's position on EFCA specifically?
Being from MA he has to triangulate and what better way to do so than with a high profile labor measure.
