The governor has appointed Rico Munn to head up Higher Ed after David Skaggs stepped down from that role in late August. Munn was serving as Executive Director for the Department of Regulatory Affairs. For the record, my prediction for the next Higher Ed appointment was wrong.
Munn's former spot at DORA is open now. I wonder if Ritter would move Munn if he didn't have a replacement at DORA already in mind. Despite it's rather bureaucratic sounding name DORA houses such critical functions as the Colorado Civil Rights Division thus a quality Executive Director is critical.
