Having a President from Illinois who appoints the former Governor of Iowa as Ag Secretary does not lend one to be optimistic about changing our national Ag policy. Big Farm is a very powerful interest group, as powerful as AIHIP or Phrma to be certain so legislative reform is highly doubtful as well.
