Sheer bufoonery from Michael Steele

If you get a chance seek out the interview that Republican Chairman Michael Steele had with Steve Inskeep on NPR this morning. I just listened to it on my drive into work and was laughing out loud throughout the interview. Steele is a well known incompetent. What made this interview fun though was Steele's total inability to handle any questions from Inskeep without losing his cool, contradicting himself and simply talking himself in circles.

Also, apparently Michael Steele doesn't know what the word "nuanced" means.

On Morning Edition today, Michael Steele gets tied in knots trying to explain how the GOP (or maybe just Steele himself?) wants to preserve Medicare against cuts, while also cutting Medicare and opposing government-run health care programs in general. It's an impossible dance for anyone, but Steele is burdened with two left feet.

Hard to believe this guy really is the head of a major American political party.
