Can't remember the last time I read Digby, much less quoted her, but she's spot on here when discussing healthcare and Ron Wyden's bipartisan wanking,

The country is already together in a thoroughly bipartisan way on this issue. It's corporate whores in Washington who are at odds with the people.

Looks like Chuck Schumer, of all people, is going to be a big force behind keeping the public option in the plan. Also kudos to Dick Durbin for starting the tough rhetoric and, hopefully, back room arm twisting.
