Its always rewarding when legislation works out the way its intended and makes a real difference in the community. I worked on this legislation and on this issue for sometime a few years ago, it's a serious issue and the hospitals are to be commended for addressing their infection rates and saving lives and hospital costs.
It seems like a small thing in the grand scheme of public policy but its making an actual difference in the lives of Coloradans.
