Count me among those who doesn't quite understand the push back against Caroline Kennedy for U.S. Senate.
Look someone has to get appointed to the seat, that's unavoidable. Whomever that is will have to run for re-election in 2010 and 2012 so the voters will have ample opportunity to voice their opinions.
I don't have strong feelings one way or the other, I just think people are over-reacting. It's not as if Patterson is appointing her for life.
