Sirota just said o the radio that Buescher was picked for U.S. Senate, that would be shocking. The Rocky is reporting that Bernie has been picked for Secretary of State, that makes a lot of sense.
Buescher is a smart capable public servant and I have no doubt that he'll do a very good job at Secretary of State. I think the only objection would be that Buescher just lost his re-election bid and perhaps someone who couldn't hold his own seat shouldn't be elevated to state wide office. It's a fair point.
No surprise that Ken Gordon didn't get the nod. He and the governor's people are not exactly close and Gordon's quirky style rubs a lot of people the wrong way.
Let's hope that the selection of Buescher for Secretary of State means that Speaker Romanoff is a finalist for U.S. Senate.
