In it's last throes

Ezra Klein nicely summarizes the arguments that demonstrate that the GOP may very well be in it's last throes. Essentially the party has isolated itself from the educated, from minorities and from every geogrpahic region save the South and rural America. It doesn't take a genius in demographics to see that such a coalition creates serious long-term sustainability issues for the GOP.
