Buchanan channels his inner-feminist

In case you had any doubt that the McCain campaign ad touting Hillary as the true VP and Bill Kristol's NY Times column arguing the same were anything other than a good old fashioned, well orchestrated rat-fucking we now have Pat Buchanan (the Vito Corleone of rat-fucking) chiming in today,

Pat Buchanan, ultra-conservative author and commentator, told PoliticsWest on Saturday that Barack Obama should have picked Hillary Clinton over Joe Biden as V.P. nominee because she won blue-collar Catholic voters that Biden did not - and she beat Obama in the Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Michigan primaries.

Why any comments from Pat Buchanan are ever reported uncritically or without Democratic rejoinder by our "liberal media" is something I will never understand. Pat Buchanan has a decades long and well-earned reputation as a dirty-trickster and amoral political operative, he is not a credible source for honest discussion of politics.
Period. End of story.

It's time the media stop playing into the hands of right-wing operatives like Buchanan. You'd think that at some point the press might get insulted by the fact that that right-wingers constantly treat them as stooges to be exploited for conservative political gain.
