Note: Obama also canceled a planned visit to two US military bases in Germany, one of which is the site of an important hospital for soldiers injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama's campaign claimed that "it would be inappropriate" to visit the bases since the trip was paid for by the campaign. The McCain campaign responded with the right answer: "Barack Obama is wrong. It is never ‘inappropriate’ to visit our men and women in the military."
Here is the truth,
"We informed the Obama staff that he was more than welcome to visit as Senator Obama, with Senate staff. However, he could not conduct the visit with campaign staff," a Pentagon spokesperson tells EC.
You'd think Ross would stumble upon the truth every once in a while just out of dumb luck.

Steve,
Mitchell's report that the Pentagon blocked the trip was wrong.
My report was accurate.
Are you going to contact the Washington Post, the AP, and Politico and call them all liars too, for reporting that Obama canceled the trip?
I know that almost everything you write (especially about me) is a lie. I wonder if your readers do, or if they're so blinded by the messiah Obama and fear of the climate change hoax that they believe anything a leftist says.
In any case, this is your most blatant lie yet about me. Do your homework and tell the truth.
