4 day work week for state employees?

I'm surprise it's taken this long for someone to push this idea here in Colorado,

Rep. Don Marostica, R-Loveland, says state employees should move from working five days a week to four. The move to four 10-hour days would save energy costs, greenhouse gases, traffic and money spent on road maintenance, he said.

In a press release today, Marostica said he planned to introduce such a proposal in January. The lawmaker wants to keep offices open during regular business hours but rotate work schedules.

I think it's definitely an idea worth exploring. Kudos to Rep. Marostica for taking the initiative.
