Pot, have you met my friend kettle?

James Dobson speaking about Barack Obama's interpretation of the Bible,

"I think he's deliberately distorting the traditional understanding of the Bible to fit his own worldview, his own confused theology," Dobson said.

"... He is dragging biblical understanding through the gutter."

Yep. James Dobson is accusing someone else of distorting the Bible to fit their own worldview.

What set Sponge Dob off? Obama had the temerity to suggest that perhaps we should spend some time reflecting on the Sermon on the Mount. You know, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kindgdom of Heaven" and the rest of The Beatitudes. Dobson would prefer to stay entirely focused on the Old Testament. You know the part of the Bible with the vengeful, judgmental God - before Jesus shows up and goes all hippie on us.
