Tell it to the Hague

Ashcroft is full of bluster but his reaction makes him look like a man who knows that he is a war criminal.

Full disclosure, I grew up in Missouri and was subjected to Ashcroft as my Attorney General, Governor and one of my U.S. Senators. I actually was a college volunteer for Ashcroft's opponent in the 2000 Senate race and despite my candidates significant handicap (he died tragically in a plane crash 3 weeks before the election) we defeated the incumbent.

I've seen this mans performance up close and he is every bit as odious and despicable a human being as his actions would suggest.

Unfortunately, I doubt Ashcroft will ever be held to account for his crimes, indeed he will probably lead a life as a respected party elder similar to that of Henry Kissinger.

There is absolutely NO WAY Ashcroft can or should ever be remembered 'as a respected party elder similar' because he is CRAZY. I love the link at the beginning showing his meltdown... I hate to say that, but that was some fancy tap-dancing he did. Perhaps he should hang up his Singing Senators pitch-pipe and borrow Gregory Hines' shows... or do we call that "lawyering" LOL...

He's an ass... just one of the first national embarassments and poor appointments of the current administration.
