Entering the 6th year of this debacle Senator John McCain is forced to make a "surprise" visit, just as every American dignitary who visits the war torn nation is forced to do. George, Dick, Condi, Senators, Congressman - they all are forced to enter Iraq under a veil of secrecy because the country is simply too dangerous for them to announce their visit ahead of time.
But Iranian President Ahmadeinejad can waltz in on an announced visit with no problem at all.
Heckuva job Bushies.
I'm sure it's asking too much for someone in our media to ask McCain why it is, 6 years into this occuptaion, neither he nor any other American dignitaries can travel openly to the country but the President of Iran can?
